Individual system setup and private tutoring is designed to get anyone up to speed quickly on their equipment with a solid understanding of its use and capabilities. Our goal since 1985 has been to make people self-sufficient, competent, and productive on their MIDI/Audio systems. Glenn's expertise is in Digital Performer, ProTools, and MIDI systems with SMPTE synchronization. Since 1996 Glenn has been an instructor at the Sheffield Institute For The Recording Arts. This commercial complex is the largest recording studio and remote recording facility in the Baltimore area. They offer an audio engineering certification program that is approved by the Maryland State Board of Higher Education. Glenn teaches the MIDI and ProTools courses for the program which make up approximately 88 hours of this nearly 300 hour training program. Course instruction includes synthesis basics, computer and MIDI system setup, sequencer use, sampling, SMPTE synchronization, and Pro Tools system setup and usage. Other course topics taught by other professional engineers include Basic Recording, Advanced Recording 1 & 2, and Live Sound Reinforcement.
